About the job

Hello! Our channel is dedicated to teaching & bringing awareness to enriching the lives of dogs. The founder & presenter, Sarah, is very passionate about dogs. She has other channels with over 1 million subscribers. This channel is her new project that she is dedicated to growing, and we would like to hire a project-based video editor to edit 2x educational videos per month. Each video is 8-10 minutes long. The videos are a mixture of voice over and on-camera footage of the presenter, Sarah. For each video, the following edits will need to be made: * The video will need to be cut together from the raw filmed footage, voice over & script. * Color grading & editing. * For the voice overs, b-roll will need to be added that fits with what is being discussed in the voice over/script. For some sections, we will provide b-roll. For other sections of the video/script, you will need to have access to a stock video library (such as Storyblocks) and choose this b-roll yourself. B-roll should change on-screen every 1-3 seconds. * Audio clean up & enhancing. * Special effects & music. * Transitions & graphics. You will need to be available to edit a video at least once every 2 weeks. Each video will be a flat fee that we will negotiate. We will pay this directly via PayPal. Ideal candidate

Someone who is passionate about editing together videos. Selecting great stock footage is key. It's even better if you also love animals & dogs!

Job requirements

Previous professional video editing experience is optional. If you can show great example videos you have edited together for yourself, that is also fine!
