About the job
We are looking for a YouTube Strategist to support Gosu Academy designing the strategy to set up and grow different YouTube channels for an Esports organization focused on coaching and education of Video Games. Responsibilities: • Support on the defining of the Branding strategy, core values, tone of voice and key messages for the Youtube channel. • Make an analysis of the types of content and formats that better work for Esports educational platforms, by making a deep competitor analysis of other successful channels. • Provide video trends on the Gaming/ Esports/ Esports Coaching and give insights on how can them be leveraged to grow the Youtube Channel. • Frame YouTube growth initiatives. • Support on making a list of influencers, pro-players and other important personalities in the world of Esports and gaming, that we would like to involve. • Build a detailed 12-months content plan, specifying the number of videos/ shorts, type of content, among others. • Define key metrics for the next 12 months. • Support on the defining of the ideal organization & team to handle the implementation of the strategy. • Support on building the budget for the next 12 months.
Job requirements
• + 5 years experience strategizing for YouTube channels. • Previous experience in the Gaming/ Esports industry is a plus. • Proven track record of audience growth on other channels. • Creative eye for design and video content. • Understanding of the digital video and a proven interest in keeping up with all video platforms across the web. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent time management and project management skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
