About the job
We are hiring a clip researcher to join the Jesser Reacts team. You will be responsible for sourcing video clips and curating them into a list, under instructions from a creative director. This is a junior position on a freelance basis, and is perfect for anyone with existing commitments. If you have a full time job or academic studies, but would like to get started working in the YouTube industry, then this role is perfect for you! This position is remote. You will be required to use your own computer for this role. Ideal candidate
The ideal candidate is someone who is able to work independently, creatively and learns quickly. SKILLS:: - Good communication skills - Understanding of Google Workspace Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive) - Understanding & interest in YouTube DESIRABLE: - Experience using video editing software - Knowledge and interest in internet trends - Knowledge of other languages - Experience working with YouTubers
Job requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Sourcing between 100-150 high quality, entertaining video clips for use in reacts video recordings (per video idea) - Using TikTok, Reddit, Reels, YouTube and other video platforms to research clips - Ensuring found clips do not violate YouTube community guidelines - Avoiding the use of clips reacted to in previous videos - Receive and apply feedback to clips (replacing or removing clips as deemed necessary by creative director) - Work to deadlines to complete research
