I'm seeking an experienced video editor to work on my first video for a new documentary style YouTube channel focused on business / finance storytelling. I have 20+ projects planned in the near future and will require editors to assist. If you possess the necessary qualifications and enjoy this type of work, there is a very strong possibility for progression and a long-term partnership.

About the job

You will be given a templated Premier Pro file with all narration clips and soundtrack already in place. You will also be provided with folder of image and video assets related to the topic that you are able to use as you deem appropriate. You will have complete creative freedom to generate entertaining and engaging visuals, based on the provided script, from a combination of stock footage, motion graphics, animations, infographics, or anything else you believe is fitting.

Each video will range from 10-15 minutes in length and you will have the ability / freedom to work on your own schedule.

Requirements

-         You’re capable of editing engaging and creative videos that elevate storytelling through seamless motion graphics, footage, visual effects, and sound design

-         Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and ideally Photoshop

-         Proven experience editing YouTube content, with samples to share

-         Strong sense of narrative and pacing

-         A collaborative mindset and ability to give and receive feedback
